Johnny Cash’s 78th Birthday

On February 26th the good folks at Southpaw in Brooklyn will be hosting a birthday bash for the country legend Johnny Cash. A variety of artists will be celebrating and playing classic Cash songs, and even some Carter Family songs. Tickets are $15 advanced, and $20 at the door, but I would suggest getting advanced tickets; Southpaw is not a large venue. I visited Southpaw for the 2009 Brooklyn Country Music Festival and it was a great venue. Lots of dancing room, a long bar, and enough random roadhouse signs to put you right back into Texas.
